Chris Spiek

Chris is Vice President of Awecomm Technologies, and managing partner of the AWS division. A graduate of Central Michigan University, he holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, with a focus in MIS. In addition to his education, he has been employed in the web development industry for

over eight years. After co-founding the Elevate Creative Development web design firm, Chris joined Awecomm as a software engineer in 2001. He was promoted to Vice President in May of 2004, and led the creation of the AWS division of Awecomm.

In addition to managing AWS, Chris sits on the Marketing Committee of the Web Analytics Association as manager of the WebAnalyticsAssociation.org website, and is a certified Google AdWords Professional, and Yahoo Ambassador.

Brent Yax

Brent A. Yax is the President and COO of Awecomm Technologies, and managing partner of the Awecomm Web Hosting division. Brent assumed his current roles in 2004 after serving as Awecomm's VP of Customer Relations where he focused on designing programs to increase valuable offerings to new and existing customers.

Brent is credited with engineering and managing the construction of Awecomm's first data center in Southfield Michigan, and the existing data centers in Troy, Michigan.

In addition to managing Awecomm's hosting division, Brent often leverages his software development background to aid in the architecture of many of AWS' web development projects. Brent's full biography can be found on the Awecomm Web Hosting website.

Jimmy Gwizdala
- AWS Director of Sales

As Director of Sales at Awecomm Web Strategies, Gwizdala is responsible for overseeing sales of Awecomm's various web-based services, tracking of the effectiveness of field sales activities, aligning sales activities with marketing initiatives, and enhancing Awecomm's existing strategic sales approach.

Jimmy has worked in the technology industry for over eight years, acting as Vice President of Partner Programs for a Los Angeles-based Application Service Provider and Content Management System provider, and has held numerous sales and management roles in various telecommunications firms.

Jimmy is a certified Google AdWords Professional.

Grace Tsai
- Web Marketing Account Manager

Grace manages web strategy projects at AWS for a wide range of customers, and is one of our resident search engine optimization specialists. Her areas of expertise include compelling landing page design, search engine optimization, web usability, and pay-per-click campaign management, and her strategies often include a mix of each to generate results for AWS clients.

Grace has a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Columbus College of Art and Design, and has held previous positions as an SEO, a Senior Web Designer, and a Corporate Marketing Supervisor.

Grace is a certified Google AdWords Professional.

Bobby Franske
- Web Marketing Account Manager

Attracted to the fast-paced SEO industry, Bobby left the large traditional marketing agency world in early 2006 to join AWS as a Web Marketing Account Manager. He brings a strong creative background to Awecomm, including a Bachelor of Arts from Columbia College in Chicago. As a talented creative writer, Bobby manages the creation of web site copy and ad text copy for AWS clients.

His areas of expertise also include natural SEO, and PPC campaign management. In addition to his account management and search engine optimization specialist role, Bobby takes it upon himself to constantly push the AWS team to find new and innovative ways to improve our creative processes.

Bobby is a certified Google AdWords Professional.

Mark Warren
- Software Developer

Mark joined AWS as a Software Developer in 2005 after graduating from Purdue University with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. He is skilled in object-oriented programming, database theory and design, and web application development in a number of languages.

In addition to his ability to create leading-edge web applications, Mark possesses the unique talent of being able to quickly work through incredibly complex development problems (and is often able to dumb-down the solution and explain it to those of us who are less technical in his slightly-noticeable British accent).

Kwi-Im Enright
- Web Design Intern

As a graduate of the College for Creative Studies in Detroit, Kwi brings a strong graphical creative background to AWS. Her deep knowledge of Photoshop, Dreamweaver, HTML, CSS, and Flash Actionscript allow her to play an active roll in many of Awecomm's web design and software development projects.

Nicole Leidlein
- Sarcastic Web Marketing Intern

Nicole did her first internship at AWS in the summer of 2006, and she made enough of an impression to get invited back! She is currently pursuing a Marketing Degree at Michigan State University. Aside from assisting with Awecomm's web marketing projects, she's known for her highly sarcastic and entertaining emails and posts on our internal AWS blog.
