Awecomm Technologies-a full service provider of web strategies, web design, and hosting services formerly of Southfield, MI-today announced that the company has moved its offices and data center to 165 Kirts Boulevard, Suite 400 in Troy, Michigan.
The new facility is 8500 square feet in total space, nearly twice that of Awecomm's previous office in Southfield. To facilitate Awecomm's growing web hosting division, the Troy office contains two Class One Data Centers. Each raised-floor data center contains precision environmental control units that regulate temperature within one degree and humidity within three percent. The data centers also include redundant internet connections and redundant power systems that employ a battery powered UPS system and natural gas generator.
"When we decided to make the move to a location with more space, we knew immediately that having a top quality data center was our highest priority," said Awecomm President Brent Yax, "this new location has a number of great technical advantages and we're excited about how that's going to allow us to improve upon the premium hosting services that we currently provide to our customers."
To compliment the company's new Awecomm Web Strategies division which is focused on web strategy, marketing, and design, the office area of the new location has been designed to be a modern workspace that inspires creativity. Jones Keena and Company of Birmingham, Michigan was hired to design the space which includes 18-foot loft style ceilings and a number of unique lighting systems.
"The look of the space does a great job complimenting both the solid, dependable feel of our hosting division, and the innovative, creative nature of our AWS group," said Awecomm Vice-President Chris Spiek, "Our hosting customers will feel right at home in this new location, and our Web Strategies customers will have no problem realizing that we're much more than just a technology firm."
