The Social Connection-host of Detroit's largest New Year's party, The Resolution Ball- contracted Awecomm Web Strategies to develop a successful online marketing initiative that resulted in a 70 percent increase in attendance at this year's event.
Awecomm Web Strategies (AWS) -a division of Troy, Michigan-based Awecomm Technologies, and provider of web strategies and design services -developed a Pay-Per-Click marketing campaign targeting Southeastern Michigan and the Chicago market. The initiative used over 2,800 keywords that directed potential party-goers to a website that contained specific information about the event.
"What better way for Awecomm to reflect on the successes of 2005 than for AWS to promote Detroit's biggest New Year's party?" said Chris Spiek, Vice President of Awecomm. "Through the use of our Web Strategy, The Social Connection was able to reach out to people they normally wouldn't have access to, and as a result, saw tremendous growth in attendance."
The AWS Web Strategy attracted new customers to the event for an overall cost of less than $4.00 per ticket sold. The Resolution Ball saw a 70% growth increase from the previous year.
