1.        Do you know what your web visitors are doing on your site?

a.        YesCorrect. But make sure you have a thorough understanding. Just knowing keywords and the pages customers are going to may not be enough. You want to understand “intent”. Are they gathering information? Ready to buy? Comparison shopping? We prefer to set up “funnels” which map out how a user travels through a site until they make a "buy" decision. Knowing where users leave the funnel can tell us a lot about their intent. With this information we can make appropriate changes to the site to better match the users’ expectations.

b.        No – Incorrect. If you can’t measure it, you can’t manage it. You may be getting lots of traffic to your site but they’re not converting into customers for you.
